Operation Inasmuch
Serving the Community as One
Operation Inasmuch [OIAM] empowers congregations worldwide to catalyze community ministry with the Operation Inasmuch model and create a culture of compassion ministry. The essence of OIAM is one great day of ministry to people in need by church members in their community. OIAM equips Christian congregations and faith-based groups to mobilize their members in hands-on compassion ministry to people in need in their community; strengthens local, Christian, mainstream churches through implementations of the biblical mandate to be externally focused in the use of their resources and the priorities of their work; makes God's love and grace as supremely presented in His only Son, Jesus, known to people who are hurting and lonely and sick and oppressed (Matt. 25); Unites like-minded believers across denominational, racial and cultural lines to serve the greater good in their community.
TCP has a long-term relationship with Operation Inasmuch and if founder/director David Crocker. We have published David’s two books on this ministry in the TCP Leadership Series. They are Operation Inasmuch: Mobilizing Believers Beyond the Walls of the Church and The Samaritan Way: Lifestyle Compassion Ministry. Both books are available in the TCP Resources Store.
