Bill Howard of Lexington SC will join The Columbia Partnership as the seventh Ministry Partner on July 1st. For the past 18 years he has served as senior pastor of Willow Ridge Church in Lexington, SC, and he will continue in that role.
The other six partners are George Bullard, Dick Hamm, Eddie Hammett, Norman Jameson, Ken Kessler, and Jim Royston.
“For the past three years I've been working as a Ministry Associate with The Columbia Partnership",” Bill shared, “and have been so grateful for their powerful influence on churches across our nation. The invitation to become a Ministry Partner has only heighten my excitement, enthusiasm, and belief of what God is going to do through this Christ-centered ministry organization in the future. I count it a privilege to join arms with these leaders in their effort to transform the North American church to passionate and effective Christ centered ministry.”
Bill Howard may be contacted at BHoward@TheColumbiaPartnership.org or at 803.467.3843.
The primary ministry focus on Bill’s service as a Ministry Partner will be as Capital Campaign Coordinator. In this role Bill has two foundational goals:
1. to provide churches and non-profits exceptional fund raising at about half the price of other national firms. “Our desire is to make a significant contribution in cost savings to every church we serve.”
2. to lead Christ centered campaigns that raise faith, not just funds. “We are committed to leading faith raising campaigns that result in significant funds being raised to advance the vision of churches and non-profits across the nation.”
With more than 25 years of service in the rear view mirror, Bill is beginning the second half of his ministry with more excitement and passion than ever before. Bill’s second half passion is to lead a movement that will call the church outside the walls and into the world. To this effort, he also founded several years ago Be Coached!, a Christian coaching practice dedicated to teaching, coaching and building disciples who will lead the way in redefining the church for the 21st century.
