TFL Dialogue, Suzanne Goebel on The Crisis of Leadership
Suzanne Goebel is affiliated with The Columbia Partnership as a member of the Ministry Community with a focus on the Coaching Leaders emphasis. Suzanne is now available to coach leaders and teams in congregations plus denominational and parachurch organizations.
Suzanne is joining TCP for the mutual encouragement, because it is a good relational community, and because of the synergy of efforts that grows out of the teamship within the Ministry Community. She will be part of the Coaching Leaders Team that is co-led by Eddie Hammett and Ken Kessler.
Baptist, Methodist, and Wesleyan leaders, congregations, denominational organizations, and seminaries have all been coach training and coaching clients served by Suzanne. In addition, she has worked with numerous parachurch organizations such as The Navigators.
Through the On Purpose organization, Suzanne Goebel has also made significant contributions to such corporations as Aflac, Ryder, West Paces Hotels, Oracle, Booz Allen Hamilton, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and others through major coaching and consulting engagements. Her strengths in organizations result in effective personal/organizational transformation as well as measurable results. Suzanne has also worked with other non-profits and government organizations, including the State of Georgia.
Her executive coaching approach combines the art and science of coaching in such a way that individuals and their organizations recognize tangible benefits along with consistent personal development. Her background in a variety of venues and her strong understanding of the business/ministry enterprise model provides both context and content when coaching executives. As a life-long learner Suzanne is currently enrolled in the Executive Doctorate in Business program, GA State University, and is designing research around coaching, leadership and neuroscience.
Suzanne’s passion is to facilitate clarity around purpose and vision to every individual and organization. Executive coaching is an integral part of her strategy and provides the framework for clarity. She also works with teams and other organizational elements to achieve best practice implementations around business processes. Her contributions go beyond coaching and consulting and include such involvements as her annual participation in the National Prayer Breakfast, Washington, DC. In this role, she works with the US Senate to arrange for International Leaders/Members of Parliaments to interact with Senators on a personal and relational basis in order to strengthen their future work together.
Drawing on over twenty-five years of experience, Suzanne brings heart, honesty, humor, inspiration and healthy excitement to any project; whether on the corporate or individual level. Her success lies in her ability to create and sustain long term professional relationships based on trust/honest feedback and her personal foundation of integrity and character based leadership.
Suzanne’s various certifications include that of Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
